Task 2 – One colour to shoot
The colour I have chosen is blue. I took pictures within my house and outside. A mixture of portraiture, documentary and abstract.

Using my Cannon DSLR and 50 mm lens. Shutter speed at 1/100 F stop 3.5 and ISO at 100. I increased the vibrancy slightly in Lightroom.

Using the Cannon DSLR with my shutter speed at 1/80 F Stop 4.0 and ISO 100. In Lightroom I increase the vibrancy slightly and increased the whites to bring out the blue.

Using my Fujifilm X100F the shutter speed was 1/150, F stop 3.2 and ISO 200, a flash was used in this picture. In Lightroom I cropped the photo so there was less of the wall and increased the whites and contrast and moved the temp to blue so the blues would come out more in the picture.

Using my Fujifilm X100F the shutter speed was 1/150 F stop 2.8 and ISO 200. In the Lightroom I increased the vibrancy slightly, decreased the highlights and increased the shadows so the picture was crisp and clear showing off the blues.

Using the cannon DSLR the shutter speed was 1/80 F stop 4.0 and ISO 100. In Lightroom I cropped the photo and increased the whites and decreased the blacks to emphasise the pastel blue.

Using my Fujifilm X100F the shutter speed was 1/150, F Stop 2.8 and ISO 200, a flash was used too. In Lightroom I increased the vibrancy slightly and reduced the highlights.

Using my Fujifilm X100F the shutter speed was 1/340 F stop 5.6 and ISO 200. In the Lightroom I increase the vibrancy and whites to bring out the blue in the sky and her jacket.
1.1,1.2,2.1 For this assignment I would use two cameras, my cannon SLR with a 50mm lens and my Fujifilm X100F 23mm lens. The Fuji camera is a lot more accessible to carry with me outside of the house to capture a colour on my travels. I would keep the aperture relatively wide from F3.5-F5.6 and ISO low as outside it was sunny and inside my home was very light. I would then use Lightroom afterwards so I could enhance the colour I have chosen in the picture.
3.1.3.2 The colour I chose to photograph was blue. This is a favourite colour of mine and within my home there is a lot of blue. Using my Cannon SLR with a 50 mm lens I photographed my son wearing blue and in front of the blue backdrop. Afterwards I increased the vibrancy slightly in Lightroom so the colour would pop. I did the same with the other objects I photographed in the house. On reflection perhaps I should have decreased the exposure slightly so the colour popped more, I could have used a quicker shutter speed with the wide aperture. My shutter speed was 1/80 in one of my pictures and my kitchen is quite bright. Outside I tried to discover more blue, as I chose to photograph the sky, again this was very exposed so I maybe needed a narrower aperture and quicker shutter speed. In lightroom I could increase the whites in picture so the colour of the sky was a more vibrant blue. I loved the picture of Georgia in her blue coat standing by the blue wall, however as it was a spontaneous shot, her red shoes became more of a focus maybe!
4.1 I used a camera strap to prevent any damage. As I photographed on busy streets I was very careful where my child stood and mindful of theft.
